Chu's Choice™ started with something simple: I wanted better protection for the cards I actually cared about.
I've been playing and collecting Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh! since I was 8 years old. Over the years, I tried more sleeves, toploaders, and card protection products than I can remember — and too many of them felt cloudy, flimsy, rough, poorly fitted, or simply not good enough for the cards I wanted to keep for years.
It Started With My Own Collection
Like many collectors, I started with the cards I loved as a kid. Pokémon, Magic, and Yu-Gi-Oh! were part of growing up. Over time, the collection became bigger, some cards became harder to find, and others became more valuable — but what mattered most was still having something I genuinely cared about protecting.
I Got Tired of Settling
I kept running into the same problems: sleeves that felt too thin, plastics that looked cloudy, holders that didn't feel premium, awkward fits, and products I simply didn't trust with my favorite cards. I kept thinking the same thing: there has to be something better.

Chu's Choice was created around one simple standard: if I wouldn't use it for the cards in my own collection, I don't want to sell it to another collector. Every product starts with the same question — would I trust this with a card I never want to replace?
Protection Should Feel Special Too
A great card shouldn't disappear inside cheap-looking protection. We believe trading card protection should feel clear, clean, thoughtfully designed, and worthy of the collection around it — whether you're storing a childhood favorite, protecting a valuable pull, or displaying a card you've spent years searching for.
